My layout is based in the loft which is 32ft x 11ft . The actual size of my layout is 28ft x 9ft , the rest of the space is taken up with a work bench and shelves for storing the usual model railway items.

The loft is totally boarded out with chipboard & hardboard.I have installed an intake & extract fan for ventilation for those hot summer days (ha ha).The layout base (chipboard) is 4' 6" off the loft floor with a access slot off center of the layout for train operation and viewing.
There are many Diesel locos , coaches, and structure kits I need to purchase , This will have to wait until the track laying and scenery are completed. In the process of molding retaining walls & rock castings.

I have not spent much time installing DCC decoders into my locomotives.

I will periodically update this site with pictures & information of my progress.
